🎓 High School Tutoring

Students may attend for:

Attendance and Commitment

  • Enrolment is typically for a full school term unless otherwise agreed.

  • Regular attendance is strongly encouraged, as concepts are built progressively over time.

  • Students who attend consistently generally achieve significantly better outcomes.

Session Expectations

Students are encouraged to:

  • Bring relevant school materials (homework, worksheets, assessments)

  • Actively participate in sessions

  • Ask questions when unsure

Sessions are designed to be supportive and collaborative, allowing students to build both understanding and confidence.

🔧 Day One Tradies (Aptitude Test Preparation Program)

Day One Tradies is a structured program designed to prepare students for apprenticeship aptitude tests by focusing on the core numeracy skills required.

The program is delivered over multiple sessions and follows a planned progression from foundational skills through to test readiness.

Program Structure

The program typically includes:

  • An initial diagnostic assessment to identify strengths and gaps

  • Guided instruction covering key maths concepts

  • Practice using aptitude-style questions

  • Final preparation focused on test readiness and confidence

Attendance Requirements

  • Due to the structured and cumulative nature of the program, attendance at all sessions is strongly recommended.

  • Missed sessions may result in gaps in understanding and may not be recoverable.

Student Expectations

Students are expected to:

  • Attempt practice questions and exercises

  • Communicate when they are unsure or need clarification

🧰 Toolbox Math (Ongoing Support Program)

Toolbox Math provides flexible, on-demand support for apprentices and students who require targeted assistance with maths.

Sessions are designed as extended “deep dive” sessions to allow sufficient time to work through concepts thoroughly.

Session Format

  • Sessions are delivered in small groups

  • Each session runs for approximately 3 hours

  • Students may bring their own questions, coursework, or topics requiring clarification

Booking and Availability

  • Sessions must be booked in advance using available time slots

  • Availability is limited and may vary depending on demand

  • Early booking is recommended

Use of Credits

  • Sessions are accessed via a credit-based system

  • Credits must be used within the allocated validity period

  • Credits are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash

Student Expectations

Students are encouraged to:

  • Come prepared with questions or materials

Holiday programs are intentionally designed to:
